Surrounded by a suitable environment, Casa Llotja de Mar in Barcelona, only a few meters from its headquarters, Vila Viniteca offered on March 26, the seventh edition of one of the most interesting wine tastings on the national scene: The Music of the Wine.
With over a thousand references, from 140 wineries from 32 Spanish and 22 international names the numbers speak for themselves.

To the magic of being able to get to taste wines that are beyond the reach of most pockets must be added the feeling that gives having winemakers serving themselves their wine and presenting their new vintages or new projects.

But even bigger and more important is the social part of the event itself as the convocation power was spectacular: over 3000 professionals, winemakers, vintners, entrepreneurs, distributors, sommeliers, winemakers and even the odd mad-about-wine gathered to give account from the extensive catalog of Vila Viniteca.

Surrounded by the glamor of some of the personalities attending, accompanied by several crowds when some of the top bottles were uncorked the crowd directed their atention to Pingus, Ermita, Termanthia, Salon …

It is a genuine pleasure to taste wines that you appreciate and get to know who created them, They get a very special feeling that only lasts a few seconds, until another taster claimes your attention. This way you can understand more about wine, knowing who and how they do, live their passion to live, tetting yourself to be seduced by the essence of wine.

Special mention to the very interesting exhibition and cheese tasting that  was very apreciated by many guests of the event, which began to claim loudly something  to sit the stomach with. A very careful selection of great cheeses, that maybe because of the hunger with which many came to it was perhaps not appreciated as it should.

Finally, beautiful tasting cognacs and brandies that was more or less improvised on the central square of the Llotja, little jewels that sparkled with the overwhelming music of wine, but were a detail to consider.
